You can get a job with a BA. If you do find a job and continue to work on your masters, once you finish, be sure to let your district know. Many districts now pay stipends for teachers with a masters degree. The district I used to work for pays an additional $1500 a year. Yes, they do have to pay you more, but you are considered highly qualified which is great for the school and the students. It is possible to teach without a Master's degree, but you HAVE TO have a teaching license which is a whole different ball game. There are requirements, both class and teaching hours, that you have to complete. If you are really serious about becoming a teacher, you should go for your Master's now and not wait. The school will have to pay you for your masters but you will have no experience.
